Meet the Photographer
Hey, my name is Luis Carbajal
I’m Luis Carbajal — a photographer, actor, and the face behind That Curly Photographer. My experience in front of the camera has shaped the way I shoot behind it. I’ve worked as a model for the high fashion industry, as well as for commercial companies such as Google and Lexus. As an actor, I’ve dabbled in everything from verticals to Film & Television. I know how important it is to feel comfortable, seen, and confident during a session, whether you’re on a film set, saying “I do,” or simply just updating your headshots.

That Curly Creative may have started with one person, but it was never meant to be a one-person story.
We’re building a community of local creatives and film professionals who come together based on the needs of each project. Sometimes that means a photographer and an editor. Other times, it means a full team of producers, videographers, stylists, makeup artists, and post-production professionals.
No matter the scale, every project is approached with the same care, collaboration, and intention. As the ideas grow, the team grows with them.
